In the 19th match minute, BonyBlanthád was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márk Szabó to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Balázs Papp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Géza Dárdai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Géza Bozsik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Géza Dárdai in the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in BonyBlanthád's zone, Ádám Kollár stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Géza Bozsik came out of the goal and Ádám Kollár tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Géza Dárdai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gergely Sárközi charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gergely Sárközi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, BonyBlanthád was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gergely Sárközi to maneuver through the defense. Ernest Cînu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Géza Bozsik made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Ernest Cînu could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Géza Bozsik however easily saved by the left post. Balázs Papp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Géza Bozsik having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Géza Dárdai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
The wind increased when Géza Dárdai made the kick off in the second half. When Géza Dárdai came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Vág fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Géza Dárdai couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Balázs Papp sped through BonyBlanthád's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Géza Bozsik. If Ádám Kollár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, BonyBlanthád's goal looked a bit too open when Géza Dárdai came free, but Géza Bozsik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Géza Bozsik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Géza Dárdai might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Géza Bozsik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Géza Dárdai ran back to his position shaking his head. Vág's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
