Béla Solti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilmos Iványi having to interfere. Himod VSC's Vilmos Iványi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Himod VSC from getting a goal against them. If János Mónos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Himod VSC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Róbert Magyar hit a great ball. When Szentantalfa's János Mónos in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Himod VSC's goalie prevented a goal. Vilmos Iványi was a little too slow when János Mónos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 23rd minute, János Mónos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Himod VSC's zone, Béla Solti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilmos Iványi came out of the goal and Béla Solti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes in the game, János Mónos dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Himod VSC's zone, Béla Solti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilmos Iványi came out of the goal and Béla Solti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When János Mónos came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Szentantalfa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that János Mónos couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mátyás Gergely was the one to do the kick off. Vilmos Iványi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from János Mónos in the 53rd minute of play. Vilmos Iványi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from János Mónos, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Szentantalfa's Andor Döbrögi pulled a muscle in his leg after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 57th minute, Koppány Lukács hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Mátyás Gergely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dávid Csonka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. György Vida's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dávid Csonka firmly grabbed it by the left post. Béla Solti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilmos Iványi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Szentantalfa got a freekick which was hit by Máté Rácz. Béla Solti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Vilmos Iványi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Béla Solti came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Szentantalfa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Béla Solti couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Béla Solti notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Himod VSC's Vilmos Iványi. Vilmos Iványi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
