Spectators: 8097 (Terracing: 6074, Seating: 1862, VIP seats: 161) Turul FC Tatabánya's Lázár Kolozsvári played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Cînu in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Ernest Cînu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vág's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Cînu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vág's Ákos Kiss got a free kick in the 14th minute. Vág's Bernt Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Géza Bíró in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Géza Dárdai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lázár Kolozsvári was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The long shot by Ferenc Tímár in the 26th minute really tested Bernt Lundin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Vág booed when Turul FC Tatabánya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. József Fejes didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balázs Papp in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lázár Kolozsvári saved Turul FC Tatabánya from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Géza Dárdai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lázár Kolozsvári. Turul FC Tatabánya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Géza Dárdai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Géza Bíró made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Géza Bíró who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vág's Bernt Lundin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lázár Kolozsvári took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Géza Dárdai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Géza Dárdai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lázár Kolozsvári. Turul FC Tatabánya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Géza Dárdai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Balázs Papp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lázár Kolozsvári having to make a save. In the 61st minute, Géza Dárdai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vág fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 67 minutes into the match, Turul FC Tatabánya's goal looked a bit too open when Géza Dárdai came free, but Lázár Kolozsvári reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vág were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Turul FC Tatabánya's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Balázs Papp took the corner. The corner led Vág's Balázs Papp to fire away a dangerous shot which Lázár Kolozsvári despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 72 played minutes Géza Dárdai rounded Turul FC Tatabánya's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. In the 74th minute, Bernát Czene hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Géza Bíró put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Bernt Lundin. In the 83rd minute, Ádám Kollár ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lázár Kolozsvári was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. In the 90th minute of the match Péter Kárpáthy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernt Lundin skillfully saved the ball. Ernest Cînu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 96 minutes of play, Turul FC Tatabánya's Géza Bíró made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernt Lundin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vág's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
