Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 8 minutes, Koppány Lukács mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Himod VSC and the Vág players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vág booed when Himod VSC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koppány Lukács didn't get a good kick on the ball. Géza Dárdai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilmos Iványi having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Ernest Cînu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilmos Iványi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ernest Cînu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vág's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Cînu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilmos Iványi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Géza Dárdai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balázs Papp scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vilmos Iványi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Balázs Papp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilmos Iványi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 25th minute, Koppány Lukács hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vilmos Iványi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Géza Dárdai in the 26th minute of play. János Gyárfás charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed János Gyárfás the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Géza Dárdai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilmos Iványi having to interfere. Ernest Cînu might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilmos Iványi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernest Cînu ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 45 minutes, Géza Dárdai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vág's supporters crossed their fingers, but Géza Dárdai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. György Vida was the one to do the kick off. Géza Dárdai took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vilmos Iványi. Vilmos Iványi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Tamás Ambrus kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Himod VSC's goal looked a bit too open when Ádám Kollár came free, but Vilmos Iványi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilmos Iványi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Cînu in the 64th minute of play. Róbert Magyar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernt Lundin firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Ádám Kollár managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vág's supporters rose to their feet, but Ádám Kollár was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilmos Iványi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Cînu in the 70th minute of play forced Himod VSC's goalkeeper Vilmos Iványi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mátyás Gergely charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mátyás Gergely the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Ernest Cînu managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 77th minute, Géza Dárdai made a precise shot to the right of Vilmos Iványi. Himod VSC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. The attack was good, but when Géza Dárdai in the 80th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Brúnó Hajdú kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. During the 83rd minute of the match János Gyárfás completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave János Gyárfás a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Himod VSC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vág:s goal. Vilmos Iványi went to the wrong direction when Balázs Papp was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 88th minute, Géza Dárdai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vág fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. 93 minutes into the match, Himod VSC's goal looked a bit too open when Balázs Papp came free, but Vilmos Iványi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilmos Iványi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balázs Papp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Vág's Viktor Matolcsy got a free kick in the 97th minute. After 99 minutes of play, Vág's Viktor Matolcsy made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilmos Iványi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vág walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
