Gábor Csank's late challenge caught a Egypontunk SE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Turul FC Tatabánya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Géza Bíró was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Turul FC Tatabánya's Lázár Kolozsvári played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endre Sallay in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Turul FC Tatabánya's Bernát Czene nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristóf Béres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Turul FC Tatabánya reached it. When Endre Sallay came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Egypontunk SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Endre Sallay couldn't finish the play.
