In the 7th minute Róbert Sámuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Géza Bozsik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Dénes Elek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, BonyBlanthád's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Sámuel came free, but Géza Bozsik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Géza Bozsik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gábor Kásás, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 21 played minutes BonyBlanthád got a freekick which was hit by Béla Zolnai. 29 minutes into the match, BonyBlanthád's goal looked a bit too open when Gusztáv Menyhért came free, but Géza Bozsik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, György Hidegkúti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Géza Bozsik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dénes Elek charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dénes Elek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute Róbert Sámuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Géza Bozsik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when György Hidegkúti made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Géza Bozsik successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Csaba Héj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Csaba Héj struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Henrik Szabados didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BonyBlanthád. Géza Bozsik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from György Hidegkúti, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Gusztáv Menyhért could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Géza Bozsik made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Róbert Sámuel got free with Géza Bozsik in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th match minute, Zalaháshágy LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lajos Gyurkovics to maneuver through the defense. Géza Bozsik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from György Hidegkúti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Vince Markó kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Géza Bozsik. That made the score 1-4 in the 82 minute of play. In the 89th minute, Csaba Héj ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrik Szabados was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Géza Bozsik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from György Hidegkúti, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Bánk Benkó received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Henrik Szabados tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Zalaháshágy LC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
