Spectators: 7968 (Terracing: 5977, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) Marci JM's Bánk Antal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bánk Antal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gáspár Horváth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Tamás Détári managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marci JM's supporters rose to their feet, but Tamás Détári was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gáspár Horváth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Tamás Détári got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcell Nagy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Csaba Balogh in the 13th minute. If Bánk Antal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcell Nagy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endre Kiss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcell Nagy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frigyes Szakács showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Áron Tímár recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcell Nagy. Áron Tímár showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After some careless play in the Görbeháza defense, Bánk Antal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gáspár Horváth. The Görbeháza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gáspár Horváth should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Áron Tímár to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Tamás Détári managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marci JM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tamás Détári was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tamás Détári had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcell Nagy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frigyes Szakács, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute Frigyes Szakács shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcell Nagy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes, Görbeháza's Vilmos Cziráki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcell Nagy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Görbeháza reached it. The supporters of Marci JM booed when Görbeháza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Csaba Balogh didn't get a good kick on the ball. László Szentes's late challenge caught a Marci JM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. László Szentes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Görbeháza getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. László Szentes hit a great ball. Marcell Nagy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Áron Tímár in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Marci JM's goal looked a bit too open when Áron Tímár came free, but Marcell Nagy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Görbeháza's goalkeeper Gáspár Horváth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tamás Détári. An unexpectedly hard shot by Áron Tímár in the 95th minute of play forced Marci JM's goalkeeper Marcell Nagy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Görbeháza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Marci JM had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
