The long shot by Gergely Bihari in the 16th minute really tested Károly Balogh's skills. With a little luck, Szombathelyi HALADÁS's Károly Balogh got control of the ball when Konrad Saugman tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Carvalho in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Károly Balogh saved Szombathelyi HALADÁS from getting behind. AS Mohács's Attila Tokody played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bánk Mónos in the 46th minute of play. Adriano Planovskiy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Attila Tokody having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bánk Mónos made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Adriano Planovskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Tokody saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Konrad Saugman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Károly Balogh was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The AS Mohács fans cheered their team off the field, for while Szombathelyi HALADÁS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
