Yakut Bergin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ákos Sóti in the 3rd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Vajka FC's goalie and right to Carlos Leitão. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Vajka FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Valentin Lustig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giorgos Charisteas in the 57th minute. Újpest FC's Valentin Lustig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Újpest FC from getting a goal against them. Valentin Lustig made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Pál Túri sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Pál Túri in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Újpest FC's Zoltán Lipták.
