Spectators: 8390 (Terracing: 6345, Seating: 1945, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ákos Sóti kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Zé Roberto Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 played minutes Újpest FC got a freekick which was hit by Péter Végvári. Ákos Sóti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tamás Bodó having to interfere. After 11 minutes of play, Partizán's Zé Roberto Freitas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Lustig was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Újpest FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jeromos Sólyom was slow to take the kick. During this time Partizán's players had a chance to rest. Miklós Fenyvesi hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Újpest FC's Valentin Lustig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeromos Sólyom in the 20th minute of play. If Zé Roberto Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valentin Lustig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Roberto Freitas in the 27th minute of the match. The Újpest FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Partizán were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Zé Roberto Freitas made the kick off in the second half. Valentin Lustig came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Partizán's Zé Roberto Freitas. But to his dismay, Zé Roberto Freitas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jeromos Sólyom kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The throw-in from Fortunato Pellegrini in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Újpest FC's Alfonz Lendvay. A collision led to Újpest FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Vencel Dobó hit a great ball. Valentin Lustig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flórián Zornánszky in the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Zé Roberto Freitas suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 67 minutes of play Újpest FC's Péter Végvári was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Partizán's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tamás Katona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Partizán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jeromos Sólyom in the 90th minute. The Újpest FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Partizán to win.
