Giorgos Charisteas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Eulalio Gudesteo made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Vajka FC's goal looked a bit too open when Félix Baló came free, but Yakut Bergin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vajka FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Khalida Amirouche was slow to take the kick. During this time Nagykarácsony's players had a chance to rest. Félix Baló made a great header on Nagykarácsony's corner, it was just that Vajka FC's Yakut Bergin managed to reach the ball for a save. Yakut Bergin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. İlker Midilli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Eulalio Gudesteo made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 52nd minute János Zarka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yakut Bergin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute Rajmund Szakács shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Gudesteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominik Szoboszlai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If János Zarka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Henrik Szarka fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vajka FC's protests and gave Henrik Szarka a yellow card for diving instead. Henrik Szarka hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Nagykarácsony's Eulalio Gudesteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Charisteas in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Nagykarácsony's goal looked a bit too open when Attila Takács came free, but Eulalio Gudesteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vajka FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when János Zarka scored to the left of an out of position Yakut Bergin, making the score, 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dominik Szoboszlai in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Gudesteo saved Nagykarácsony from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Dominik Szoboszlai notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Nagykarácsony's Eulalio Gudesteo. Eulalio Gudesteo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yakut Bergin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Szabolcs Vándor in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Vajka FC's goalkeeper Yakut Bergin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theofanis Makrikostas. 91 minutes into the game, János Zarka recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yakut Bergin. János Zarka showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Szabolcs Vándor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nagykarácsony's supporters rose to their feet, but Szabolcs Vándor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yakut Bergin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nagykarácsony eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
