An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Saugman in the 11th minute of play forced Nagykarácsony's goalkeeper Eulalio Gudesteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torsten Sundin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Attila Tokody read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Félix Baló got free with Attila Tokody in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frigyes Tisza in the 22nd minute of play forced Nagykarácsony's goalkeeper Eulalio Gudesteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bai Ao Zhen hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Rodolfo Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Gudesteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, AS Mohács's goal looked a bit too open when János Zarka came free, but Attila Tokody reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Rodolfo Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nagykarácsony's Eulalio Gudesteo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Torsten Sundin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Attila Tokody tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute of the match AS Mohács got a corner. Nagykarácsony's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frigyes Tisza ran over to the corner to take the kick. Attila Tokody took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from János Zarka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Nagykarácsony defense, Rodolfo Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eulalio Gudesteo. The Nagykarácsony fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Gudesteo should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Theofanis Makrikostas hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Nagykarácsony's Eulalio Gudesteo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Nagykarácsony from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Carvalho notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Nagykarácsony's Eulalio Gudesteo. Eulalio Gudesteo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eulalio Gudesteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Carvalho in the 61st minute of play. Frigyes Tisza kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Attila Tokody showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Sundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The corner led Nagykarácsony's János Zarka to fire away a dangerous shot which Attila Tokody despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 76 played minutes, AS Mohács's Gergely Bihari shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eulalio Gudesteo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AS Mohács reached it. Attila Tokody took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Sundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Attila Tokody didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torsten Sundin went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Rodolfo Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Mohács's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eulalio Gudesteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, Nagykarácsony's goalkeeper Eulalio Gudesteo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krisztián Döbrögi. Eulalio Gudesteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Döbrögi in the 86th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Árpád Sós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nagykarácsony and the AS Mohács players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nagykarácsony getting a freekick after 88 minutes play.
