When Lajos Gerő came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the FC RED BUL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lajos Gerő couldn't finish the play. Viktor Kassais short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Rajmund Kiss to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 17th match minute, Ház Mögötti Sport Egylet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dávid Kiss to maneuver through the defense. Ház Mögötti Sport Egylet's Rajmund Kiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endre Dénes in the 20th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Lajos Gerő had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC RED BUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominik Szoboszlai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rajmund Kiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Szoboszlai in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Dominik Szoboszlai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dominik Szoboszlai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC RED BUL's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
