Torsten Sundin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Slawomir Dziedziak made a huge save. Ading Mahuse hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Kálmán Borbás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Khalida Amirouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nagykarácsony's supporters rose to their feet, but János Zarka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Slawomir Dziedziak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 52 minutes into the match, Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s goal looked a bit too open when János Zarka came free, but Slawomir Dziedziak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slawomir Dziedziak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Sundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the game, Nagykarácsony's Torsten Sundin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kálmán Borbás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eulalio Gudesteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kálmán Borbás came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Telekgerend .Star.szy. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kálmán Borbás couldn't finish the play. András Gömöris short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Eulalio Gudesteo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Telekgerend .Star.szy.'s zone, János Zarka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Slawomir Dziedziak came out of the goal and János Zarka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nagykarácsony were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Telekgerend .Star.szy. to leave the ground with a draw.
