Zoltán Dósa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Lustig having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Gyula Szusza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Újpest FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gyula Szusza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute Ákos Sóti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dávid Tulipán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Carlos Leitão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dávid Tulipán. Dávid Tulipán didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Leitão went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Püspökhatvan AC were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Újpest FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lajos Csorba took the corner. 31 minutes into the game, Ákos Sóti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Újpest FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Püspökhatvan AC the free kick. Ákos Sóti hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Püspökhatvan AC's Dániel Havass got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Vencel Dobó charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vencel Dobó the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Vencel Dobó hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Újpest FC's goalkeeper Valentin Lustig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by István Csizmadia. After a defensive mix-up in Újpest FC's zone, Lajos Csorba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Lustig came out of the goal and Lajos Csorba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Püspökhatvan AC's István Vincze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentin Lustig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ákos Sóti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ákos Sóti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Leitão might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dávid Tulipán. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Leitão ran back to his position shaking his head. After 53 minutes, Dániel Havass mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Püspökhatvan AC and the Újpest FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Püspökhatvan AC's Dániel Havass got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Újpest FC's Carlos Leitão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dávid Tulipán. That made the score 0-4 after 72 minutes of play. Valentin Lustig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from István Csizmadia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dávid Tulipán was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Viktor Laczkó capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Viktor Laczkó really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. 96 minutes into the match, Újpest FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lajos Csorba came free, but Valentin Lustig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
