Ákos Nagy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attila Tokody having to interfere. In the 21st minute Tamás Takács shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Tokody saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Máté Havass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Carvalho in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Rodolfo Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Havass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Átták's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Carvalho came free, but Máté Havass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AS Mohács's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frigyes Tisza in the 34th minute. Attila Tokody was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tamás Takács was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tamás Takács in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Attila Tokody saved AS Mohács from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, AS Mohács's goal looked a bit too open when Ákos Nagy came free, but Attila Tokody reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 minutes, Illés Virág mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Átták and the AS Mohács players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Átták getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Illés Virág hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Frigyes Tisza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Havass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Attila Tokody showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoltán Lévai, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Many of AS Mohács's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. AS Mohács may have spent more time on the ball, but Átták were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
