Eulalio Gudesteo made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Konrad Saugman sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute Khalida Amirouche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Tokody saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Sundin in the 12th minute of play forced AS Mohács's goalkeeper Attila Tokody to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to AS Mohács getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Gergely Bihari hit a great ball. Tibor Andrássy kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Nagykarácsony's goalkeeper Eulalio Gudesteo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konrad Saugman. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Carvalho in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eulalio Gudesteo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Szabolcs Vándor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Nagykarácsony's Félix Baló got a free kick in the 30th minute. Eulalio Gudesteo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Carvalho in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the match, AS Mohács's Rodolfo Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eulalio Gudesteo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Félix Baló had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47thth minute of the game Rodolfo Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nagykarácsony's Eulalio Gudesteo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konrad Saugman in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 58th minute, Konrad Saugman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eulalio Gudesteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Félix Baló's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Attila Tokody read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Nagykarácsony were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after AS Mohács's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Khalida Amirouche took the corner. In the 67thth minute of the game Frigyes Tisza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nagykarácsony's Eulalio Gudesteo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Frigyes Tisza managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Mohács's supporters rose to their feet, but Frigyes Tisza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eulalio Gudesteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the game, Cornelio Terrazas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS Mohács's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nagykarácsony the free kick. In the 73rd minute, one of AS Mohács:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AS Mohács. When the match had been going on for 74 minutes, Nagykarácsony's Torsten Sundin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Attila Tokody. Attila Tokody was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Szabolcs Vándor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Szabolcs Vándor really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Konrad Saugman might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eulalio Gudesteo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Konrad Saugman ran back to his position shaking his head. Khalida Amirouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Attila Tokody tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Sundin struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Attila Tokody didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nagykarácsony. After 93 played minutes AS Mohács got a freekick which was hit by Géza Kárpáti. The AS Mohács fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nagykarácsony were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
