The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mátyás Kurucz during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A well-hit corner resulted in Balázs Szakál heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, Partizán's Benigno Sidoro got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 65 minutes, Olaf Wieczorek made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Partizán's Tamás Bodó tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tamás Bodó stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olaf Wieczorek's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Zé Roberto Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute László Benke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tamás Bodó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77th play minutes Norbert Kuncz shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Tamás Bodó and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, Partizán's Tamás Bodó got control of the ball when Norbert Kuncz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Várdomb were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Partizán's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mendiko Angles took the corner. Várdomb's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
