In the last second Valentin Lustig throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tamás Takács in the 4thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 10th match minute, Átták was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ákos Nagy to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Viktor Laczkó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Havass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tamás Takács fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Lustig having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tamás Takács's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentin Lustig was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Alfonz Lendvay hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Gyula Szusza hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Máté Havass made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Laczkó in the 31st minute of play. Zoltán Lévai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Lustig having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Laczkó got free with Máté Havass in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Újpest FC's Gyula Szusza got a free kick in the 70th minute. Gyula Szusza hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Újpest FC's Valentin Lustig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamás Takács in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ákos Nagy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Átták's supporters rose to their feet, but Ákos Nagy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Lustig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
