The supporters of Nagykarácsony booed when Átták was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Keresztes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Átták's goalkeeper Máté Havass had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torsten Sundin. 16 minutes into the match, Torsten Sundin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Máté Havass, 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Nagykarácsony's goal looked a bit too open when Tamás Takács came free, but Eulalio Gudesteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes of play, Átták's Tamás Takács made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eulalio Gudesteo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Átták's Máté Havass proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Átták from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamás Takács in the 32nd minute of play forced Nagykarácsony's goalkeeper Eulalio Gudesteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tamás Takács came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Átták fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tamás Takács couldn't finish the play. Átták's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Illés Virág in the 38th minute. After taking down the ball on Átták's corner Illés Virág fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eulalio Gudesteo quite easily take care of the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Nagykarácsony's Torsten Sundin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Máté Havass made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 45 played minutes Nagykarácsony got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Sundin. In the 46th minute, József Nyúl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Átták's Máté Havass played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Sundin in the 51st minute of play. Rafael Keresztes's late challenge caught a Nagykarácsony's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Keresztes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nagykarácsony booed when Átták was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. The tension between the Átták and the Nagykarácsony players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tamás Takács had several of the Nagykarácsony's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Eulalio Gudesteo as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, Nagykarácsony's Eulalio Gudesteo got control of the ball when Zoltán Lévai tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 64 minutes on the clock, Roland Iványi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Átták's Roland Iványi got a free kick in the 65th minute. Máté Havass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szabolcs Vándor in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Torsten Sundin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nagykarácsony fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Sundin in the 71st minute of play forced Átták's goalkeeper Máté Havass to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Gudesteo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tamás Takács went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. If Félix Baló had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torsten Sundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máté Havass having to interfere. Szabolcs Vándor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Máté Havass tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Dániel Földi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Átták and the Nagykarácsony players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Dániel Földi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tamás Takács received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
