Seating: 1943, VIP seats: 168) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Torsten Sundin kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lajos Gerő in the 4th minute of play forced Nagykarácsony's goalkeeper Eulalio Gudesteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. József Rigó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Baló in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC RED BUL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Khalida Amirouche was slow to take the kick. During this time Nagykarácsony's players had a chance to rest. Eulalio Gudesteo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lajos Gerő's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. If Lajos Gerő had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. József Rigó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from János Zarka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lajos Gerő's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eulalio Gudesteo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Khalida Amirouche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nagykarácsony's supporters rose to their feet, but Khalida Amirouche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. József Rigó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC RED BUL getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Dávid Kiprich hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match Nagykarácsony got a corner. FC RED BUL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Khalida Amirouche ran over to the corner to take the kick. Endre Dénes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Eulalio Gudesteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Endre Dénes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lajos Gerő in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eulalio Gudesteo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, FC RED BUL's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Sundin came free, but József Rigó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torsten Sundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without József Rigó having to interfere. József Rigó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Sundin in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Eulalio Gudesteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dávid Kiprich in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lajos Gerő in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Gudesteo saved Nagykarácsony from getting behind. Torsten Sundin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. József Rigó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nagykarácsony's goalkeeper Eulalio Gudesteo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eulalio Gudesteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lajos Gerő, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Lajos Gerő received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Eulalio Gudesteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. János Zarka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nagykarácsony's Eulalio Gudesteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dávid Kiprich in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match FC RED BUL got a corner. Nagykarácsony's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Virgil van Beek ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Norbert Kiss got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eulalio Gudesteo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 81st minute, Norbert Kiss left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC RED BUL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Dávid Kiprich blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eulalio Gudesteo having to make a save. A hard shot 86 in the game by Torsten Sundin from a close distance when the talented József Rigó managed to make a qualified save. FC RED BUL's players were relieved. Endre Dénes's late challenge caught a Nagykarácsony's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Endre Dénes helped the player get up and apologised. FC RED BUL's József Rigó proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save FC RED BUL from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Nagykarácsony's Torsten Sundin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that József Rigó narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Zalán Ibrahimović fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC RED BUL's protests and gave Zalán Ibrahimović a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes FC RED BUL got a freekick which was hit by Zalán Ibrahimović. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Szabolcs Vándor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nagykarácsony's supporters rose to their feet, but Szabolcs Vándor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. József Rigó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
