Zoltán Lipták hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Carlos Leitão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Újpest FC booed when Ház Mögötti Sport Egylet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frigyes Szőnyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zsolt Petres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Major in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Gyula Szusza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Mårtensson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ház Mögötti Sport Egylet! 24 minutes into the match, Ákos Sóti dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rajmund Kiss, 2-0. Ákos Sóti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rajmund Kiss having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Alfonz Lendvay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Újpest FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonz Lendvay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gyula Szusza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ház Mögötti Sport Egylet's Rajmund Kiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ákos Sóti in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Gyula Szusza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rajmund Kiss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rajmund Kiss made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ákos Sóti sent off a good shot on target. Rajmund Kiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Leitão, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Ház Mögötti Sport Egylet's goalkeeper Rajmund Kiss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ákos Sóti. Gyula Szusza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Ház Mögötti Sport Egylet's Frigyes Szőnyi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zsolt Petres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Ákos Sóti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Rajmund Kiss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eidvilas Byra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gyula Szusza in the 70th minute of play forced Ház Mögötti Sport Egylet's goalkeeper Rajmund Kiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktor Laczkó's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rajmund Kiss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Viktor Laczkó cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Rajmund Kiss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 77 minutes, Carlos Leitão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Újpest FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Leitão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Laczkó in the 93rd minute of play forced Ház Mögötti Sport Egylet's goalkeeper Rajmund Kiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Újpest FC's Viktor Laczkó nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rajmund Kiss made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Újpest FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
