The score was now 1-0. Pál Pál made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pál Sugár in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Rapid's Álmos Csáki ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pál Pál. Pál Pál yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 16th minute, Rapid's Braulio Dacio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Antal Pádár showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bulcsú Urbán in the 21st minute of the match. Miskolc-Szirma FC's Pál Pál proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Miskolc-Szirma FC from getting a goal against them. Miskolc-Szirma FC's Pál Pál played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álmos Csáki in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Miskolc-Szirma FC booed when Rapid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Marton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 minutes of play, Rapid's Patrik Marton made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pál Pál was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Álmos Csáki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pál Pál was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Dacio got free with Pál Pál in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute of the match Rapid got a corner. Miskolc-Szirma FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Krisztián Sinkó ran over to the corner to take the kick. Miskolc-Szirma FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Álmos Csáki scored to the left of an out of position Pál Pál, making the score, 6-0. Pál Pál showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álmos Csáki, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lóránt Bányai was the one to do the kick off. When Ferenc Kásás fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rapid's protests and gave Ferenc Kásás a yellow card for diving instead. Ferenc Kásás kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Miskolc-Szirma FC got a freekick which was hit by Lóránt Bányai. In the 60th minute Pál Sugár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pál Pál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Miskolc-Szirma FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Krisztián Sinkó was slow to take the kick. During this time Rapid's players had a chance to rest. Álmos Csáki struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Pál Pál didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rapid. In the 75th minute, Rapid's Krisztián Sinkó seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Krisztián Sinkó the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rapid protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Krisztián Sinkó had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Frigyes Forgács walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Braulio Dacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the match, Patrik Marton notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Miskolc-Szirma FC's Pál Pál. Pál Pál was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Braulio Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pál Pál having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Lóránt Bányai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antal Pádár was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. 90 minutes into the game, Patrik Marton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Pál Pál was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Rapid players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
