The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zsolt Kozák blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Imre Pethő having to make a save. In the 14th minute, Félix Dobránszky made a precise shot to the right of Imre Pethő. Ugornya Red Wings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Stephan Kaspar made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Magyarcsanád's János Erdei. Imre Pethő took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márton Kósa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Zsolt Kozák made a precise shot to the right of Imre Pethő. Ugornya Red Wings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Félix Dobránszky recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Havik kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Imre Pethő didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Márton Kósa went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Kristóf Lencse kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Balázs Kocsis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertrand Taverniers, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Zsolt Kozák managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magyarcsanád's supporters rose to their feet, but Zsolt Kozák was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Imre Pethő breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Magyarcsanád were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Félix Dobránszky stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Félix Dobránszky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Félix Dobránszky got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Yani Mitakev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Magyarcsanád's Félix Dobránszky ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Imre Pethő. Imre Pethő yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. When Zsolt Kozák fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magyarcsanád's protests and gave Zsolt Kozák a yellow card for diving instead.
