In the 44th minute, Lóránt Bányai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yani Mitakev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Pál Pál tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Lóránt Bányai made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Pál Pál managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Ugornya Red Wings's Yani Mitakev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 61 minutes into the match, Miskolc-Szirma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bertrand Taverniers came free, but Pál Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Miskolc-Szirma FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nils-Emil Pihlblad was slow to take the kick. During this time Ugornya Red Wings's players had a chance to rest. Achilleas Csizmadia was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The Ugornya Red Wings fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Ugornya Red Wings's Bertrand Taverniers looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Bertrand Taverniers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yani Mitakev kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Bertrand Taverniers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. Imre Pethő made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lóránt Bányai in the 96th minute of play. Ugornya Red Wings's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
