Levente Lévai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nándor Szekeres, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Attila Mesterházy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoltán Kuncz in the 5th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Zoltán Kuncz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Attila Mesterházy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Lak getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Imre Kántor hit a great ball. After 9 played minutes Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC got a freekick which was hit by Mátyás Virág. Levente Lévai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nándor Szekeres, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakab Boross in the 16th minute of play forced Lak's goalkeeper Levente Lévai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC booed when Lak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertalan Győrffy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Levente Lévai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nándor Szekeres in the 21st minute of play. Levente Lévai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nándor Szekeres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zoltán Kuncz scored 1-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Attila Mesterházy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nándor Szekeres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Levente Lévai made a huge save. Imre Kántor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Attila Mesterházy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jakab Boross was the one to do the kick off. Levente Lévai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nándor Szekeres in the 60th minute of play. After 61 minutes Lak's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Máté Elek who took care of the corner kick. In the 62nd match minute, Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nándor Szekeres to maneuver through the defense. Levente Lévai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nándor Szekeres in the 65th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Christian Kilstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Levente Lévai was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 68th minute, Zoltán Kuncz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Levente Lévai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Kilstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Attila Mesterházy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the match, Lak's Zoltán Kuncz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Attila Mesterházy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Christian Kilstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Levente Lévai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nándor Szekeres in the 85th minute of the match. Nándor Szekeres hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Levente Lévai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nándor Szekeres in the 91st minute of play. Levente Lévai came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Christian Kilstedt. But to his dismay, Christian Kilstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lak had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
