Jonathan Curcio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gusztáv Horváth having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ádám Újváry got free with Kázmér Hoffman in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wawrzyniec Wolniewicz in the 13th minute of play forced Puskás Akadémia's goalkeeper Gusztáv Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gusztáv Horváth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Curcio's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Gusztáv Horváth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawrzyniec Wolniewicz in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Puskás Akadémia were awarded a corner. Zsolt Medve went to the cornerflag to take it. Kázmér Hoffman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zsolt Medve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Puskás Akadémia's Ádám Újváry in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gázszer FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gusztáv Horváth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Curcio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 39 played minutes Gázszer FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Curcio. After a rather tough play, Puskás Akadémia's Márton Koós got a free kick in the 41st minute. Gusztáv Horváth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Curcio in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44thth minute of the game Wawrzyniec Wolniewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Puskás Akadémia's Gusztáv Horváth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Puskás Akadémia's Ádám Újváry ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kázmér Hoffman. Kázmér Hoffman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Curcio was the one to do the kick off. When Wawrzyniec Wolniewicz came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Gázszer FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wawrzyniec Wolniewicz couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ádám Újváry in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kázmér Hoffman saved Gázszer FC from getting behind. When Puskás Akadémia's Ádám Újváry in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. János Lehr was slow to take the kick. During this time Gázszer FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Gázszer FC's Konrad Szarmach to fire away a dangerous shot which Gusztáv Horváth despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zsolt Medve scored 2-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kázmér Hoffman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 67 minutes, Ádám Újváry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puskás Akadémia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ádám Újváry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gázszer FC made a substitution. János Müller replaced Balázs György. Gázszer FC made a substitution. András Sass replaced Gáspár Kun. Puskás Akadémia made a substitution. Vendel Hellinger replaced Adorján Lantos. When Vendel Hellinger fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Kázmér Hoffman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ádám Újváry in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kázmér Hoffman saved Gázszer FC from getting behind. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Puskás Akadémia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. János Grósz was slow to take the kick. During this time Gázszer FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Dénes Salgó got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gusztáv Horváth quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Gázszer FC's zone, Ádám Újváry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kázmér Hoffman came out of the goal and Ádám Újváry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Ádám Újváry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Gázszer FC booed when Puskás Akadémia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ede Erős didn't get a good kick on the ball. Puskás Akadémia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
