Róbert Lázár hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. If Adorján Lantos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gusztáv Horváth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Iacovone in the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of Trógerek booed when Puskás Akadémia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Gyarmati didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 played minutes, Trógerek's Krisztián Lázár shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gusztáv Horváth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trógerek reached it. Bánk Magos struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Gusztáv Horváth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trógerek. In the 21st minute, Zsolt Medve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puskás Akadémia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 25th minute Trógerek were awarded a corner. Krisztián Lázár went to the cornerflag to take it. Bánk Magos hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Trógerek's Bánk Magos fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Gusztáv Horváth was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbert Lázár in the 27th minute of play forced Puskás Akadémia's goalkeeper Gusztáv Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ádám Újváry kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antal Galambos. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Puskás Akadémia's goal looked a bit too open when Bánk Magos came free, but Gusztáv Horváth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bánk Magos in the 34th minute of play forced Puskás Akadémia's goalkeeper Gusztáv Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ede Erős recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ede Erős's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antal Galambos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ádám Újváry got free with Antal Galambos in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ádám Újváry to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Puskás Akadémia! When the match had been going on for 54 minutes, Trógerek's Krisztián Lázár got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gusztáv Horváth. After some careless play in the Puskás Akadémia defense, Adriano Iacovone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gusztáv Horváth. The Puskás Akadémia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gusztáv Horváth should have stopped the shot. Róbert Lázár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Róbert Lázár came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Trógerek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbert Lázár couldn't finish the play. Antal Galambos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ádám Újváry's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Norbert Gyarmati kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The Puskás Akadémia fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Puskás Akadémia's Ádám Újváry looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With an all-out effort, Trógerek's Gusztáv Horváth threw himself towards the right post 99 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yuli Prastowo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
