Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's Levente Pucheli got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gedeon Fenyves, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 31 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Antal Galambos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Géza Hujber hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Stephan Schmidt hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Alex Zádori blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antal Galambos having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bánk Magos in the 51st minute of play forced Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's goalkeeper Vendel Sass to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Levente Pucheli might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antal Galambos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Levente Pucheli ran back to his position shaking his head.
