Kakucs FC's Ákos Kutasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehis Kapstas in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Mehis Kapstas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sopronkövesd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 20th minute, Mehis Kapstas made a precise shot to the right of Ákos Kutasi. Kakucs FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 23 played minutes Kakucs FC got a freekick which was hit by Dávid Sinkovits. In the 26th minute Mehis Kapstas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ákos Kutasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Csaba Fülöp took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ákos Kutasi. Ákos Kutasi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehis Kapstas in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ákos Kutasi saved Kakucs FC from getting behind. Antal Dobi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ákos Kutasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehis Kapstas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ádám Nyúl in the 34th minute of play forced Kakucs FC's goalkeeper Ákos Kutasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Kakucs FC defense, Mehis Kapstas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ákos Kutasi. The Kakucs FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ákos Kutasi should have stopped the shot. Ákos Kutasi came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sopronkövesd's Ádám Nyúl. But to his dismay, Ádám Nyúl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Ákos Kutasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csaba Fülöp, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Przemyslaw Zuraw to make the kick off. The supporters of Kakucs FC booed when Sopronkövesd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehis Kapstas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Ádám Nyúl made a precise shot to the right of Ákos Kutasi. Kakucs FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. With a little luck, Kakucs FC's Ákos Kutasi got control of the ball when Ádám Nyúl tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Csaba Fülöp took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Ákos Kutasi to make any attempt to save it. A sloppy throw-in by István Kásás in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kakucs FC's Iván Galambos. Dániel Váczi lost his temper 66 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 65 minutes into the game, one of Sopronkövesd:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Antal Dobi had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Floyd Hasselbaink's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Floyd Hasselbaink cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Antal Dobi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ákos Kutasi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehis Kapstas's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Mehis Kapstass short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Ákos Kutasi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 78th minute of the match, Mehis Kapstas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ákos Kutasi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mehis Kapstas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Ákos Kutasi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Kakucs FC's Przemyslaw Zuraw got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Csaba Fülöp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sopronkövesd's Jocelyn Papon in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Kakucs FC's João Setúbal got a free kick in the 98th minute. Ákos Kutasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szilveszter Kővári in the 99th minute of play. The Kakucs FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sopronkövesd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
