In the 9th minute István Csongrádi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Penkalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignác Juhász received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dawid Penkalski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cordero Trielles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Aursulesei, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Újpalota SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Béla Markó in the 18th minute. The corner ended in Béla Markó almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Abasár ETO's Cordero Trielles did a great save. Dawid Penkalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábián Hujber, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Abasár ETO's zone, Sebestyén Nyíri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cordero Trielles came out of the goal and Sebestyén Nyíri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Béla Markó got free with Cordero Trielles in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cordero Trielles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebestyén Nyíri in the 31st minute. Despite this Dawid Penkalski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Újpalota SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Abasár ETO were winning 0-1.

Cordero Trielles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Aursulesei in the 50th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Ignác Juhász got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebestyén Nyíri hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Emil Bacsó fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dawid Penkalski having to interfere. When Újpalota SC's Sebestyén Nyíri in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abasár ETO's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling István Csongrádi in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The supporters of Újpalota SC booed when Abasár ETO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dömötör Sugár didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Bacsó fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dawid Penkalski having to interfere. Márton Csorba kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match Abasár ETO got a corner. Újpalota SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. István Csongrádi ran over to the corner to take the kick. 77 minutes into the match, Abasár ETO's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Aursulesei came free, but Cordero Trielles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Sebestyén Nyíri made a precise shot to the right of Cordero Trielles. Abasár ETO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cordero Trielles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebestyén Nyíri's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. If Sebestyén Nyíri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gigel Aursulesei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordero Trielles having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
