The Újpalota SC fans' excitement grew in the 2nd match minute when Újpalota SC's Gigel Aursulesei looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zakariás Nagy kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Béla Markó's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Alfréd Váradi on his right side and into the goal. 6 minutes into the game it was 0-2. If Gigel Aursulesei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Balázs Csonka might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfréd Váradi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balázs Csonka ran back to his position shaking his head. György Koós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Alfréd Váradi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Sebestyén Nyíri made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Al-Lin FC Vásárosnamény's Alfréd Váradi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfréd Váradi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gigel Aursulesei went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Márton Győrffy hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Béla Markó scored 0-7 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfréd Váradi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Al-Lin FC Vásárosnamény defense, György Koós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfréd Váradi. The Al-Lin FC Vásárosnamény fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfréd Váradi should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute, Sebestyén Nyíri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfréd Váradi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. After some careless play in the Al-Lin FC Vásárosnamény defense, Béla Markó kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfréd Váradi. Alfréd Váradi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Béla Markó's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Gigel Aursulesei notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Al-Lin FC Vásárosnamény's Alfréd Váradi. Alfréd Váradi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the match, Gigel Aursulesei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfréd Váradi. Al-Lin FC Vásárosnamény's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigel Aursulesei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Béla Markó took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfréd Váradi. Alfréd Váradi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. After the first half Újpalota SC were leading 0-13. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Sebestyén Nyíri made the kick off in the second half. Alfréd Váradi stood somewhat misplaced when Béla Markó came free in front of goal and shot 0-14 to the left of him in the 53 minute. 56 minutes into the match, Al-Lin FC Vásárosnamény's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Aursulesei came free, but Alfréd Váradi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match, Béla Markó got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfréd Váradi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Újpalota SC's Róbert Nagy suffered a torn muscle in his knee after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Szilárd Ambrus charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Szilárd Ambrus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Újpalota SC's Pál Fülöp was substituted for Róbert Nagy. After a rather tough play, Al-Lin FC Vásárosnamény's Szilárd Ambrus got a free kick in the 60th minute. Alfréd Váradi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Béla Markó in the 64th minute of play. Alfréd Váradi had great luck who in the 75thth minute grab hold of the ball when Sebestyén Nyíri from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Újpalota SC's György Koós got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gigel Aursulesei in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfréd Váradi saved Al-Lin FC Vásárosnamény from getting behind. During the 86th minute of the match Szilárd Ambrus completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Szilárd Ambrus a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 86th match minute, Al-Lin FC Vásárosnamény was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szilárd Ambrus to maneuver through the defense. Alfréd Váradi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gigel Aursulesei went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-18 was the resulting score.
