The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radoy Koprivlenski in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Csaba Vándor saved SS Pacha from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Micha Klain during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th match minute, SS Pacha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micha Klain to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Micha Klain put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hugó Albert. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by SS Pacha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tibor Újváry was slow to take the kick. During this time REAL TATA's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Micha Klain got free with Hugó Albert in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugó Albert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micha Klain in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoy Koprivlenski in the 21st minute of play forced SS Pacha's goalkeeper Csaba Vándor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugó Albert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute Radoy Koprivlenski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Csaba Vándor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zsolt Rózsa in the 44th minute of play forced SS Pacha's goalkeeper Csaba Vándor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radoy Koprivlenski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in REAL TATA's zone, Micha Klain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugó Albert came out of the goal and Micha Klain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. REAL TATA's János Laczkó was substituted for Tibor Újváry. With a little luck, SS Pacha's Csaba Vándor got control of the ball when Zsolt Rózsa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugó Albert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Micha Klain's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Csaba Vándor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zsolt Rózsa in the 83rd minute. SS Pacha's Csaba Vándor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save SS Pacha from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by SS Pacha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
