Spectators: 8402 (Terracing: 6302, Seating: 1932, VIP seats: 168) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mózes Bartha got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Szombathelyi Haladás's goalkeeper Jeromos Petres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bealtaine McJon. László Pethő sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Szombathelyi Haladás's Jeromos Petres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bealtaine McJon in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Szombathelyi Haladás's goal looked a bit too open when László Pethő came free, but Jeromos Petres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, László Pethő hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norbert Miklós took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for István Szarka. Musztáng SE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Szombathelyi Haladás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frigyes Nagy to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Musztáng SE's zone, István Szőlősi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. István Szarka came out of the goal and István Szőlősi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Mózes Bartha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szombathelyi Haladás fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. István Szarka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nándor Jászberényi in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Mózes Bartha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of István Szarka. Musztáng SE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mózes Bartha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. István Szarka came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Szombathelyi Haladás's István Szőlősi. But to his dismay, István Szőlősi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 45 played minutes Szombathelyi Haladás got a freekick which was hit by Nándor Jászberényi. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Pethő in the 47th minute of play forced Szombathelyi Haladás's goalkeeper Jeromos Petres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes Szombathelyi Haladás got a freekick which was hit by Frigyes Nagy. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Dániel Rigó made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling László Pethő in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeromos Petres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Musztáng SE were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Szombathelyi Haladás's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Derman Sualp took the corner. The corner ended in Derman Sualp almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Szombathelyi Haladás's Jeromos Petres did a great save. After 58 minutes of play, Szombathelyi Haladás's István Szőlősi made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. István Szarka was left in no man's land by his defense there! László Pethő sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeromos Petres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dániel Rigó in the 64th minute of play. Jeromos Petres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bealtaine McJon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Szombathelyi Haladás's Norbert Kiprich got a free kick in the 66th minute. László Pethő sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeromos Petres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bealtaine McJon, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute, Mózes Bartha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dániel Rigó fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeromos Petres having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Szombathelyi Haladás's Károly Demeter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind István Szarka. István Szarka yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Norbert Miklós charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norbert Miklós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. István Szarka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mózes Bartha, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Derman Sualp placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Jeromos Petres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from László Pethő, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Szombathelyi Haladás supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Szombathelyi Haladás would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
