With a little luck, Batéi Félreértés LC's André Luiz Rosa got control of the ball when Anders Haglund tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Bódi in the 16th minute of play forced Black Panthers's goalkeeper Gyula Mészáros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Panthers's goalkeeper Gyula Mészáros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Batéi Félreértés LC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roland Bódi in the 19th minute. The corner ended in Roland Bódi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Black Panthers's Gyula Mészáros did a great save. In the 21st minute, Yoeri Vrins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by György Novák during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 47 minutes, Jácint Víg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batéi Félreértés LC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jácint Víg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Yoeri Vrins sped through Batéi Félreértés LC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of André Luiz Rosa. Batéi Félreértés LC's André Luiz Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Haglund in the 59th minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Roland Bódi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Panthers's Gyula Mészáros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute Anders Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lóránt Sári in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gyula Mészáros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gyula Mészáros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lóránt Sári's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Black Panthers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Batéi Félreértés LC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
