Andor Mester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Codrescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liviu Codrescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andor Mester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liviu Codrescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Tibor Újváry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Andor Mester made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Kiprich during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes Szombathelyi Haladás got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Kiprich. Andor Mester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Mindykowski in the 10th minute of the match. If Tibor Újváry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. János Laczkó's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andor Mester read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Frigyes Nagy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szombathelyi Haladás and the REAL TATA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Szombathelyi Haladás's Frigyes Nagy got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Codrescu in the 20th minute of play forced Szombathelyi Haladás's goalkeeper Andor Mester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 23rd minute of the match Frigyes Nagy completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Frigyes Nagy a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Frigyes Nagy kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Barnaba Mindykowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Andor Mester made a huge save. After having played for 26 minutes, Liviu Codrescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REAL TATA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liviu Codrescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Szombathelyi Haladás's goalkeeper Andor Mester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zsolt Rózsa. Norbert Miklós's late challenge caught a REAL TATA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norbert Miklós helped the player get up and apologised. Norbert Miklós kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Szombathelyi Haladás's Andor Mester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Szombathelyi Haladás from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on REAL TATA's corner Tibor Újváry fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andor Mester quite easily take care of the ball. Andor Mester made an important save on a dangerous shot by Csaba Dénes in the 43rd minute. Petrea Isac hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Hugó Albert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Károly Demeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, Szombathelyi Haladás's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Codrescu came free, but Andor Mester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szombathelyi Haladás's Andor Mester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Mindykowski in the 54th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Tibor Újváry got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andor Mester quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. János Laczkó received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Andor Mester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andor Mester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Mindykowski in the 60th minute of play. Nándor Jászberényi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Hugó Albert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Szombathelyi Haladás got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Kiprich. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barnaba Mindykowski in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andor Mester prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The REAL TATA fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when REAL TATA's Barnaba Mindykowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nándor Jászberényi kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Barnaba Mindykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andor Mester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Félix Szuper kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute Károly Demeter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugó Albert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andor Mester didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zsolt Rózsa went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 81 minutes into the match, Szombathelyi Haladás's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Újváry came free, but Andor Mester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, REAL TATA's Zsolt Rózsa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andor Mester made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. REAL TATA made a substitution. Árpád Vadász replaced János Laczkó. 91 minutes into the match, Szombathelyi Haladás's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Mindykowski came free, but Andor Mester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andor Mester came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by REAL TATA's Árpád Vadász. But to his dismay, Árpád Vadász quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 96th minute Barnaba Mindykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andor Mester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. REAL TATA fully deserved thier win.
