The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miklós Madaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ádám Nemes in the 3rd minute of play. Miklós Madaras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ádám Nemes in the 4th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Komlói Bányász SK's Jakab Bauer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dávid Bihari narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Komlói Bányász SK booed when Kisnána MTK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ákos Benkô didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Jakab Bauer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Komlói Bányász SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakab Bauer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norbert Szeszák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miklós Madaras having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jakab Bauer made the kick off in the second half. Kisnána MTK's Dávid Bihari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dániel Bódi in the 53rd minute of play. Dániel Bódi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Komlói Bányász SK's goalkeeper Miklós Madaras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvard Pihlberg. Edvard Pihlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miklós Madaras having to interfere. With a little luck, Komlói Bányász SK's Miklós Madaras got control of the ball when Norbert Puskás tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ádám Bíró in the 82nd minute of play forced Kisnána MTK's goalkeeper Dávid Bihari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakab Bauer took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dávid Bihari. Dávid Bihari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ádám Bíró hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norbert Puskás in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miklós Madaras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 93 minutes Komlói Bányász SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Simon Földesi who took care of the corner kick.
