Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Budapest's Miklós Fehér got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Corrado's István Virágh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Kállai in the 21st minute of play. After 23 played minutes FC Corrado got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Mello. 25 minutes into the match, FC Budapest's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Simon came free, but Bálint Hellinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Jurand Rutkowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bálint Hellinger. FC Budapest's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jurand Rutkowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tibor Simon was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Corrado's players had a chance to rest. Viktor Edelényi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but István Virágh made a huge save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miklós Fehér to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes FC Budapest got a freekick which was hit by Tamás Káposztás. After having played for 51 minutes, Tibor Simon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Corrado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibor Simon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Szilveszter Titkos in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bálint Hellinger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute, Miklós Fehér ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. István Virágh was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jurand Rutkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Szilveszter Titkos charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Szilveszter Titkos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Corrado getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. But to his dismay, Jurand Rutkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a little luck, FC Budapest's Bálint Hellinger got control of the ball when Szabolcs Havasi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jurand Rutkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bálint Hellinger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Medárd Lévay took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bálint Hellinger. Bálint Hellinger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. When the match was over FC Corrado could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Budapest throughout the match.
