Spectators: 6311 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1811, VIP seats: 0) NK Dubrava 1986's Danijel Korša started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Tomo Nimac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grgur Kukolj made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomo Nimac in the 14th minute. When Tomo Nimac came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the NK Croatia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomo Nimac couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Tomo Nimac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Fabijan Čulig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NK Croatia's Tomislav Furmek got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, NK Croatia's Tomislav Furmek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Grgur Kukolj made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With an all-out effort, NK Croatia's Grgur Kukolj threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomislav Furmek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Tomislav Furmek put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Grgur Kukolj. Tomo Nimac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Grgur Kukolj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomislav Furmek made a kick off. Tomislav Furmek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Grgur Kukolj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grgur Kukolj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomo Nimac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grgur Kukolj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomo Nimac in the 59th minute of play. Tomislav Furmek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 minutes of play, NK Croatia's Tomo Nimac made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Grgur Kukolj was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Tomo Nimac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomislav Furmek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grgur Kukolj having to make a save. If Tomislav Furmek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomislav Furmek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grgur Kukolj read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Tomislav Furmek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Grgur Kukolj was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomislav Furmek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grgur Kukolj read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Grgur Kukolj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomislav Furmek, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Tomislav Furmek struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Grgur Kukolj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK Croatia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arijan Vuica in the 87th minute of play forced NK Dubrava 1986's goalkeeper Grgur Kukolj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in NK Dubrava 1986's zone, Tomislav Furmek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grgur Kukolj came out of the goal and Tomislav Furmek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
