Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) FC Alen Luka's Anđelko Smildžić started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Ljubo Markotić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HNK Cibalia and the FC Alen Luka players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ljubo Markotić kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Njegoslav Vadlja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikola Stepić having to interfere. In the 11th minute Krešo Tučkorić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Goran Ravnić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes FC Alen Luka got a freekick which was hit by Mate Posinjak. Goran Ravnić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stipe Žitnik in the 14th minute. Nikola Stepić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Njegoslav Vadlja in the 24th minute of play. Goran Ravnić made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Stipe Žitnik sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Albert Isakovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, HNK Cibalia's Sven Šerbedžija tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ljubo Markotić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goran Ravnić having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, FC Alen Luka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mate Posinjak to maneuver through the defense. Goran Ravnić was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sven Šerbedžija. After 38 played minutes FC Alen Luka got a freekick which was hit by Mate Posinjak. Goran Ravnić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakov Radović in the 39th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, HNK Cibalia's goal looked a bit too open when Njegoslav Vadlja came free, but Nikola Stepić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Anđelko Smildžić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakov Radović to strike the kick off in the second half. If Anđelko Smildžić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. HNK Cibalia's Nikola Stepić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save HNK Cibalia from getting a goal against them. Danko Rogošić kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, FC Alen Luka's goal looked a bit too open when Jakov Radović came free, but Goran Ravnić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Isakovski kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Alen Luka defense, Jakov Radović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Goran Ravnić. The FC Alen Luka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Goran Ravnić should have stopped the shot. After 73 minutes of play, HNK Cibalia's Stipe Žitnik made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Goran Ravnić was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mate Posinjak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goran Ravnić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stipe Žitnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Jakov Radović took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Goran Ravnić. Goran Ravnić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. HNK Cibalia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
