Miroslav Brečak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Tim osviježenje Kuzmica booed when Fužine Sokol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Maračić didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Nikola Grubiša cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Miroslav Brečak came out of the goal and Nikola Grubiša tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miroslav Brečak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julije Sardelić in the 43rd minute of the match. Ernesto Doris made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Benjamin Maračić sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julije Sardelić in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miroslav Brečak saved Fužine Sokol from getting behind. Julije Sardelić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nikola Grubiša to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Maračić in the 52nd minute of play forced Tim osviježenje Kuzmica's goalkeeper Ernesto Doris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Darko Elezović sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Doris skillfully saved the ball. Miroslav Brečak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Grubiša, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fužine Sokol's Miroslav Brečak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Grubiša in the 64th minute of play. If Julije Sardelić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nikola Grubiša sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikola Grubiša received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Miroslav Brečak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miroslav Brečak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Grubiša, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikola Grubiša took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miroslav Brečak. Miroslav Brečak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Fužine Sokol's Miroslav Brečak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Fužine Sokol from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julije Sardelić got free with Miroslav Brečak in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julije Sardelić might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miroslav Brečak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julije Sardelić ran back to his position shaking his head. After 94 minutes of play, Tim osviježenje Kuzmica's Julije Sardelić made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miroslav Brečak was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Tim osviježenje Kuzmica left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fužine Sokol.
