Spectators: 7796 (Terracing: 5890, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The referee gave Raša a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Duje Arbanas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Podhum's Neno Đačić. 0-2. After 13 minutes, Gordan Praljak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raša and the FC Podhum players grew even worse after the yellow card. The long shot by Izidor Carev in the 14th minute really tested Vlatko Ašperger's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Vlatko Ašperger was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Izidor Carev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Izidor Carev really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. If Želimir Knjaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Podhum's Neno Đačić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Želimir Knjaz in the 25th minute of play. FC Podhum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Želimir Knjaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Davor Pokrajac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlatko Ašperger having to interfere. After the first half Raša were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luka Degen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Raša's Želimir Knjaz got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, FC Podhum's goalkeeper Neno Đačić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by August Đapić. FC Podhum's Neno Đačić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save FC Podhum from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the game, August Đapić lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Neno Đačić. After a rather tough play, FC Podhum's Robert Škalamera got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 91st minute of the match, Luka Degen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Neno Đačić saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 93rd minute, Davor Pokrajac ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vlatko Ašperger was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. Raša's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
