Tonko Očić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Raša's goalkeeper Vlatko Ašperger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luka Degen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luka Degen in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Šandor Dundara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Duje Arbanas hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Oporovec Hajduk's Ibrica Križanec got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tonko Očić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Branko Bubalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danijel Sabolović in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Šandor Dundara saved Oporovec Hajduk from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Branko Bubalo to make the kick off. Tonko Očić's late challenge caught a Raša's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tonko Očić helped the player get up and apologised. Tonko Očić hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Luka Degen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raša's supporters rose to their feet, but Luka Degen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Šandor Dundara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the game, Arsen Markulj was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oporovec Hajduk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raša the free kick. Arsen Markulj kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Arsen Markulj was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. Tonko Očić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tonko Očić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Andrija Huško had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute Luka Degen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Šandor Dundara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luka Degen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Šandor Dundara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Trpimir Popović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Raša had played much better football throughout.
