After a rather tough play, Gornji Bogićevci SD's Siniša Devčić got a free kick in the 7th minute. Mihovil Peranić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Tomo Drmić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Borko Benjak hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The supporters of Gornji Bogićevci SD booed when Križevci Naprijed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Krkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Mihovil Peranić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gornji Bogićevci SD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
