Spectators: 6795 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1795, VIP seats: 0) Emilijan Simić started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 minutes, Joško Loje mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Krnica Zrmanja and the Kastav Učka players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute of the match, Fran Padovan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leo Poljak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Kastav Učka getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Danijel Vulić hit a great ball. Predrag Mikulić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veljko Prgomet having to interfere. Joško Loje hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes, Predrag Mikulić made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Krnica Zrmanja's Veljko Prgomet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Krnica Zrmanja's Emilijan Simić in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kastav Učka's goalie prevented a goal. Goran Begonja hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Emilijan Simić recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leo Poljak. Emilijan Simić showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Emilijan Simić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 minutes Krnica Zrmanja's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ernest Brkan who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Kastav Učka's Ernest Brkan to fire away a dangerous shot which Veljko Prgomet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Goran Begonja charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Goran Begonja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kastav Učka's Goran Begonja got a free kick in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Emilijan Simić dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leo Poljak, 2-1. Mišo Đupić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Leo Poljak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Predrag Mikulić was the one to do the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Kastav Učka:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Krnica Zrmanja:s goal. Kastav Učka:s Leo Poljak showed great skill when he stopped Alan Gragorić:s penalty. In the 59th minute of the match Krnica Zrmanja got a corner. Kastav Učka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alan Gragorić ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emilijan Simić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 64th play minutes Emilijan Simić shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Leo Poljak and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Kastav Učka's Danijel Vulić got a free kick in the 68th minute. Kastav Učka's Leo Poljak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mišo Đupić in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Mišo Đupić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Krnica Zrmanja's supporters rose to their feet, but Mišo Đupić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Poljak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mišo Đupić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mišo Đupić in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Poljak saved Kastav Učka from getting behind. Mišo Đupić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Leo Poljak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Krnica Zrmanja's Mišo Đupić got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Goran Biskupović fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kastav Učka's protests and gave Goran Biskupović a yellow card for diving instead. Mišo Đupić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 minutes of play, Krnica Zrmanja's Mišo Đupić made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leo Poljak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Krnica Zrmanja walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
