Benjamin Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the match, Oporovec Polet's goal looked a bit too open when Leopold Savičević came free, but Relja Tuškan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, FC Nail City 1976's Waldemar Dytrych seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Waldemar Dytrych the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Nail City 1976 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Waldemar Dytrych had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Relja Tuškan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopold Savičević in the 44th minute of play. Leopold Savičević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Relja Tuškan having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Leopold Savičević made the kick off in the second half. If Slaven Hohnjec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Relja Tuškan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopold Savičević in the 53rd minute of play. Relja Tuškan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slaven Hohnjec, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Relja Tuškan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopold Savičević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slaven Hohnjec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Relja Tuškan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Nail City 1976 played a much better game than Oporovec Polet and deserved their victory. The Oporovec Polet players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
