The penalty shot was made by Perica Junaković, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Grobnik United's Stojko Alimanović. 1-1. 15 minutes into the match, FC Grobnik United's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Bunić came free, but Stojko Alimanović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Miroslav Giljević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Bunić in the 21st minute of play forced FC Grobnik United's goalkeeper Stojko Alimanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanko Žalik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gašpar Težak having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Većeslav Sviben managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Grobnik United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Većeslav Sviben was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stanko Žalik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tonino Resnik hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Gašpar Težak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanko Žalik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miroslav Giljević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stojko Alimanović having to interfere. Gašpar Težak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanko Žalik in the 45th minute of the match. Tonino Resnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miroslav Giljević made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Tonino Resnik put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Stojko Alimanović. If Dominik Bunić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Većeslav Sviben's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gašpar Težak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. When FC Grobnik United's Stanko Žalik in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grande Croatia's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Grande Croatia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
