Aljoša Haramina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gojko Orlić, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Vladimir Lešina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vodnjan Budućnost's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ćurlovac Dunav the free kick. In the 15th minute, Vladimir Lešina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gojko Orlić struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Aljoša Haramina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ćurlovac Dunav. Aljoša Haramina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gojko Orlić in the 24th minute of play. Duško Zuber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aljoša Haramina having to interfere. Arijan Ciglenečki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Tyge Laxlov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Ćurlovac Dunav defense, Petar Medvidović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tyge Laxlov. The Ćurlovac Dunav fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tyge Laxlov should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arijan Ciglenečki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petar Medvidović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Arijan Ciglenečki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tyge Laxlov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petar Medvidović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Gojko Orlić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ćurlovac Dunav's supporters rose to their feet, but Gojko Orlić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aljoša Haramina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvije Horvatović helped the player get up and apologised. Silvije Horvatović kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Rade Krizmanić hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Aljoša Ljumezi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tyge Laxlov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Frano Šimatović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ćurlovac Dunav's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vodnjan Budućnost the free kick. In the 84th minute, Frano Šimatović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tyge Laxlov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arijan Ciglenečki in the 92nd minute of the match. Arijan Ciglenečki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vodnjan Budućnost had won after a very even match.
