Ninoslav Šuvak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Kranjčević, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A collision led to Stipanovci getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Frano Mušica hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Roman Kranjčević ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ninoslav Šuvak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 43 minutes into the match, Donje Novo Selo Kalnik's Roman Kranjčević sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ninoslav Šuvak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ninoslav Šuvak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Kranjčević in the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Krešimir Brčić made a kick off. In the 89th minute, Njegoslav Posarić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Peranić struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Većeslav Špehar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stipanovci. 95 minutes into the match, Roman Kranjčević had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ninoslav Šuvak. Stipanovci's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Kranjčević was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The Stipanovci fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Donje Novo Selo Kalnik were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
