Augustin Šipraga hit a great ball. Bojan Šilješ didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mitar Kukić went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With 36 minutes on the clock, Dario Redak commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Ugljan. Matko Jendrić stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bojan Šilješ. 1-3. 45 minutes into the match, Ugljan's goal looked a bit too open when Matija Kaurić came free, but Nikša Baričević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ugljan's Ladislav Jusić got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mijat Kurtela made a kick off. Nikša Baričević showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mijat Kurtela in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Joško Radmilović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matko Jendrić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Bojan Šilješ made a huge save. Hrvatsko Zagorje's Bojan Šilješ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Hrvatsko Zagorje from getting a goal against them. Matija Kaurić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikša Baričević having to interfere. If Mijat Kurtela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hrvatsko Zagorje's Bojan Šilješ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Kovačev in the 70th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Hrvatsko Zagorje got a freekick which was hit by Filip Braić. 75 minutes into the match, Hrvatsko Zagorje's goal looked a bit too open when Mitar Kukić came free, but Bojan Šilješ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikša Baričević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mijat Kurtela, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Bojan Šilješ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Šipraga in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Vlaho Vranić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ladislav Jusić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mijat Kurtela in the 88th minute of play forced Ugljan's goalkeeper Nikša Baričević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vlaho Vranić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ugljan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
